If you're looking for guidance on authoritative parenting styles and/or positive discipline strategies these links might be a helpful place to start. I don’t subscribe to a single parenting style/modality. I don’t think there is just one correct style that is right for every parent or every child.
Having said that, decades of research support that Authoritative parenting styles lead to better outcomes for children than any of the other parenting styles.
